3 Reasons Behind My Mountain High Laundry.
Here they are: Ava, Mateo and Gianna!
Now I’ll admit my house might not be the tidiest around, the sheets and blankets taken off the bed and turned into a fort, the dishes still on the table from breakfast and now it’s already time for lunch, and the socks on our feet mismatched because I need to finish the laundry, but I wouldn’t trade any of it for them. In fact, this year, one of my resolutions is to take the time to get down on the floor and play with them even more.

My Ladybug Girl!
We love to read in this house. In fact, if you were to pay a visit to my house, you would most likely find a book or two in almost every room. Luckily, Lawrence has one of the greatest libraries ever. We take weekly trips and usually come home with a bag or two full of books. The latest books that Gia picked up were about Lady Bug Girl. They are very cute and she loves them. Needless to say, ladybug girl has now become a part of our life.
The other day, after saving the world, having tea parties, games of tag and transformers with her brother, my ladybug girl crashed hard on the couch. I couldn’t help but snag a picture to help capture this phase in her life.

She’s Back
Okay so once again I can rightly be accused of neglecting my blog, I’m sorry! I cannot believe how quickly this year is coming to an end. I feel like it was just Halloween yesterday, and yet here I am making my list and checking it twice.
I decided that with the hustle and bustle I should be able to post at least one picture a day from now until the end of the year to keep my blog alive, and so that is what I am going to do.
So please forgive me for the lack of words but enjoy the pictures, and this holiday season.

Happy Birthday Honey!
Okay so really Steve’s birthday is in September, and really that is not even close to how far behind I am in getting to my own family pictures. Every year at Christmas we try do a book of pictures from that year to give out as gifts. So usually the week before Christmas I’m going through a year’s worth of family photos trying to pick out which ones to use. This year I’m a bit ahead of the game and trying to do this once a week for about an hour, starting this week.
I came across these pictures and had to share them. The kids and I decided to throw Steve a surprise birthday party. So we made cupcakes, painted a banner, wrapped presents, put on party hats, inserted those party blowing things and hid behind the couch. It was a great surprise for him, and a great night!
Happy Belated Birthday love! You know we are madly crazy about you and love you more than words can express!

Ava in Wonderland!
So Ava has become quite fascinated with Alice in Wonderland lately, so much so that she was Alice for Halloween and wants to have an Alice in Wonderland birthday party.
We decided instead of using her Alice in Wonderland costume for her invitations, we would recreate a modern Alice look, including a flower headband instead of the bow, and a ruffled cardigan and fancy blue dress, complete with accessories.
We had lots of fun shooting in the backyard today. Here are some shots from our shoot.
