Now I’ll admit my house might not be the tidiest around, the sheets and blankets taken off the bed and turned into a fort, the dishes still on the table from breakfast and now it’s already time for lunch, and the socks on our feet mismatched because I need to finish the laundry, but I wouldn’t trade any of it for them. In fact, this year, one of my resolutions is to take the time to get down on the floor and play with them even more.

In fact, if you were to pay a visit to my house, you would most likely find a book or two in almost every room. Luckily, Lawrence has one of the greatest libraries ever. We take weekly trips and usually come home with a bag or two full of books. The latest books that Gia picked up were about Lady Bug Girl. They are very cute and she loves them. Needless to say, ladybug girl has now become a part of our life.

The other day, after saving the world, having tea parties, games of tag and transformers with her brother, my ladybug girl crashed hard on the couch. I couldn’t help but snag a picture to help capture this phase in her life.
